Our ongoing bible meets every Friday morning in the Fireside Room at Union Church at 10:00 AM for about an hour.
The Friday Bible Study group is the longest running, ongoing group in our Church. We go year-round, and having finished years with the Bible, we are taking a brief respite with a few newer books before we go back to the Bible. We are finishing "Women of the Bible", and will take on Joanna Weaver's newest book, "Having a Mary Spirit and Allowing God to Change Us from the Inside Out." Joanna is a pastor's wife, a Bible Study leader, as well as an author of many award-winning books and publications.
Past recent study material have included "Women of the Bible", and the letters of James and Peter, using Barclay's Study Guide.
