Women's Fellowship

PURPOSE: Women's Fellowship, which has been in existence since the beginning days of Union Church (under various names) exists to provide fellowship for the women of the church, and to help them provide needed services for the church and community. We meet once a month on the first Thursday at 1:00 PM. Our programs are varied; such as musical, book review, travelogue, luncheon, -- and especially good fellowship. All women who attend Union Church are welcome to attend; you don't need a personal invitation. At present we arrange for altar flowers, and maintain basics in the kitchen (paper products, beverages) for the after-church coffee fellowships. We share Coffee Fellowship with other groups, but we hostess once a month. We also have charitable projects for community needs; baskets at holidays and ditty-bags with personal care items for children going to camp. We have also provided money for some church projects. Naturally, we have to have a few fund-raisers to cover our expenses such as bake sales, candy sales and church receptions. Come and join in our Christian Fellowship!
